The usual scene after a 12th or +2 level examination: parents visiting career counsellors and students seeking guidance from seniors or teachers; at a complete mess with a burden of over information or at a complete loss with the lack of information. Various fields, numerous courses, multiple streams and the ever rising competition seems to be the major concerns for all who would like to be successful in their respective upcoming. The most sought after under graduation courses in the Delhi University are B.Com, Economics, English, History and Statistics and can be done from a number of colleges under the university like St. Stephens College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Hindu College, Ramjas College, etc. The Honors level gives these courses its coveted status and some even enjoy direct placements, right after graduation. The Delhi School of Economics and Faculty of Management Studies are some leading faculties under the University Of Delhi. Research level education can be pursued from any of these universities and, the highly qualified faculty members and well developed infrastructure adds to an admirable educational career. The AJK Mass Communication Research Centre department of Jamia Millia is considered to be one of the best for journalism and mass communication in Asia. Almost 50% of the students from JNU attempt the civil service examinations and a number of them make through, right in their first effort. Society, in large, is analysed by students and they are made aware of the various happenings around them.
